TENDER ADVERTISEMENT WILLIAM STREET SEWAGE PUMPING STATION UPGRADE / REPLACEMENT MUNICIPALITY OF SOUTH HURON CONTRACT NO. ESD-02 Sealed Tenders, clearly marked as to contents, will be received by Sandy Becker, Director of Financial Services / Treasurer, at 322 Main Street South, Exeter, Ontario until 3:00 p.m. Local Time, on: Thursday, May 9, 2019 For the replacement and upgrade of the existing William Street Sewage Pumping Station, Exeter, Ontario. The works include a new control building, emergency standby generator, new wet well and valve chamber in conjunction with all associated works including new pumps and process equipment. The existing pumping station building will be demolished upon completion of the new works. The tenders will be opened publicly the same day at 3:05pm. Digital tender documents and plans can only be obtained by registering with and downloading from the Bids and Tenders website (www.bidsandtenders.com). All bidders must be registered on the Bids and Tenders website. Digital plan takers shall acquire addendums from the Bids and Tenders website. A tender deposit in the amount of 10% of the tender price including HST shall accompany all tenders, in the form of a Bid Bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labour and Materials Payment Bond for the total value of the contract. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Construction is anticipated to proceed with commencement by June 1, 2019 and be totally complete by March 31, 2020. Procurement is subject to Chapter 506 of Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
